Catherine Prather,  Executive Vice President, National Tour Association

Catherine Prather, CTP, joined the National Tour Association team in 1994 and currently serves as executive vice president. In this role, Catherine focuses on strategic continuity to ensure NTA’s long-term growth and viability.

As executive vice president, Catherine’s areas of oversight include strategic development, membership growth, leadership and volunteer relations, research and education, international strategy, crisis management and special-market initiatives.

She guides the NTA team in developing programming designed to enhance member value and engagement. On a daily basis, Catherine draws connections and seeks collaboration among the association’s staff experts, NTA members and industry counterparts.

Catherine has earned NTA’s Certified Tour Professional designation, and she actively supports Tourism Cares, NTA’s official philanthropy. She serves on the Retailing and Tourism Management Advisory Board for the University of Kentucky.

A native of Georgetown, Kentucky, Catherine is a graduate of Transylvania University with a bachelor’s degree in English.
